At the moment I am offering five classes. (I prefer it if you call me on 01608-819049 or e-mail me to let me know if you are coming to the Charlbury classes so I can judge numbers.)

MONDAYS, 10.00 A.M . - 11.30 A.M., CHARLBURY

What to expect

Iyengar Yoga classes are suitable for any adult age and all levels of fitness - you do not have to be flexible to practise Yoga. You must however inform me of any injuries or medical conditions prior to starting a class. Please do not have a large meal prior to class (ideally leave four hours to digest a full meal) nor have a drink immediately before a class.

A class will involve a variety of different postures - standing, sitting, inverted and relaxing. Iyengar Yoga is a strong exercise but emphasis is placed on precision and safety.

Simple props are used such as blocks and belts to help one achieve improvement in certain postures. The class is performed with bare feet and clothing that does not impede movement is recommended. Please bring a Yoga mat if you have one and any other Yoga props if you have them. A simple blanket is also useful.
